Ellie Goulding wants a cameo role
ELLIE Goulding is vying for a cameo role on Geordie Shore after joining the cast of the MTV show on a boozy night on the Toon.
The singer loves the programme and begged the stars for a role in the next series as they knocked back the cocktails.
Ellie hooked up with the cast on Monday and they drank together into the early hours.
A source said: “Ellie is absolutely addicted to the show and, being in Newcastle, she was desperate to meet the cast.
“She ended up at the Bijoux bar, which is known by fans of the show as a place where they go, and the whole lot of them turned up.
“They welcomed Ellie with open arms and spent the night doing shots and knocking back cocktails together.
“Despite their reputation, Ellie couldn’t believe how lovely they all were and asked if she could join them on the show. The lads – in particular ladies’ man Gaz – seemed well up for it.”
Earlier in the day, Ellie had tweeted that she was in the city and, referring to Geordie Shore, said: “I’m in Newcastle and you know what that means #fckinmortal” The show’s official Twitter feed then replied: “Bosh! I’m sure our lot would be up for that!”
She then replied: “Um. Let’s OBVIOUSLY make it happen.”.
