Today (24th May) marks the first birthday of Geordie Shore!

On this day last year we would watch the first episode of the first series, where we would see Charlotte, Vicky, Jay, Gaz, Holly, Greg, James and Sophie for the first time.

Throughout the next weeks we watched as Vicky and Jay’s turbulent relationship developed and then ended, and we saw Gaz and Charlotte start their… relationship?

Holly was the only one who went into the house in a relationship but left the house twice before the end of the series, and broke up with her boyrfriend Dan.

Next was the two special episodes of Magaluf Madness.

Holly was back for good with a new red hair colour, Vicky and Jay were definitely not into eachother anymore and Charlotte and Gaz weren’t and then were.

Remember Gaz confessing his feelings at the end of the second episode?

A second series was confirmed and began filming in October.

Fans were shocked when Greg announced he had left the show, but were also excited at the thought of new cast mates.

Geordie Shore Web gave you the names of the new housemates first, as well as bringing you the first photos.

Rebecca and Ricci joined the remaining cast and definitely caused some trouble in the house.

Vicky and Rebecca instantly argued with the infamous “I’ve got toenails older than her” and “She’s really irritating, she’s like thrush” quotes from Volcano Vicky.

Vicky and Sophie entered series 2 with boyfriends, and both left with boyfriends too. But in Vicky’s case it was a different boyfriend.

Her and Ricci clicked straight away as soon as he walked through the door and fans watched their will they/won’t they relationship blossom.

Sophie’s relationship went through struggles but came out strong in the end.

Charlotte left the house for a while to be away from Gaz and his womanizing ways but returned soon after, to the delight of fans!

Series 3 was confirmed, but what was more exciting was that it would be filmed in Cancun in Mexico!

The cast: Vicky, Ricci, Charlotte, James, Jay, Rebecca, Sophie, Holly and Gaz jetted off to the party destination to film a full eight episode series that will begin airing on 26th June.

Filming finished and it was revealed that Vicky and Ricci had got engaged during filming in Cancun.

Perhaps the most exciting thing though, is that a fourth series was confirmed yesterday before series three has even been shown which truly shows how in demand Geordie Shore and its cast are.

One year on and the show has filmed three series, two special episodes and a fourth series has been confirmed!

What will the next year hold, I wonder?

Geordie Shore: The Reunion is on tonight at 9pm on MTV, hosted by Russel Kane!

Make sure to tune in to catch up with the cast members and what has been going on since filming.

We also get to see their reactions about what’s happened on the show, like Holly and James banging… twice!

Holly has assured Kane that:

“I don’t want to bang him again.”

James has also said:

“Bless her she tried her hardest, do you know what I mean. She was grafting for a while. So do you know what I thought. She’s tried hard like. I’ve got to give it to her haven’t I?”

I was invited to the filming of the reunion show but unfortunately was in Paris at the time, but I am sure the show will be amazing!

Well, it’s that time of the week again – Geordie Shore day!

If you can’t remember what happened in episode 4, then here’s a little recap.

Charlotte came back (YAY!) and jumped straight back into bed with Gary. Gary suggested they should be boyfriend and girlfriend but Charlotte didn’t want that.

James banged the same girl from episode 3, but Holly managed to get her way and banged James too.

Vicky went to speak to Dan again to finish things, but he changed her mind. She decided to stay away from Ricci, but couldn’t help it and the pair slept together for the first time.

Joel, Sophie’s boyfriend, didn’t come to visit her again, and the other housemates were wondering what his intentions were!

Rebecca made it clear to Jay that she wouldn’t put out for him.

It was Ricci’s mum’s birthday, so Ricci, Vicky, Gaz and Charlotte went for a meal at his house for his mum.

Charlotte and Gary were about to have sex, when Charlotte farted and then wet the bed from laughing to much – probably the funniest TV moment of last week!

Lets have a little recap of what went on too.

We saw two new cast members join the house, Ricci and Rebecca. Vicky took a liking to Ricci and a dislike to Rebecca.

Holly and James are sharing a room, and Holly is desperate to get with him!

Gaz and Charlotte got together again, in the hot tub.

Gaz also got with another blonde girl.

Jay and Rebecca had a bit of a neck on.

Sophie and Vicky have boyfriends, so decided to share a room: the chastity room. But Sophie brought her vibrator so they wouldn’t get bored.

Rebecca and Holly seemed to hit it off, with Rebecca playing babysitter and holding back Holly’s hair as she was sick.

So, who is excited for episode 2!? I literally cannot wait to see how the drama unfolds, and if Charlotte really does leave ):

Today I got to go and meet and interview the cast of Geordie Shore, apart from Sophie and Holly who weren’t there.

I had 20 minutes with Ricci, Rebecca and James and then 20 minutes with Vicky, Charlotte, Jay and Gaz.

I was so excited to meet them but also dead nervous, but after a few minutes with Ricci, Rebecca and James I was fine. It was just like chatting to friends!

I found out some great stuff, including a few secrets that I can’t really share. We will all find out about it as series 2 gets going though.

I got a few photos, including the one above, and will be able to get a few more tomorrow as I am going to watch the first episode with them too.

Make sure to tune in to MTV at 10pm tomorrow night and onto the MTV website straight after to watch an interview with Laura Whitmore. I will be there to watch the interview, but seriously I wouldn’t miss out.

According to Vicky and Charlotte there’s gonna be fireworks!

Geordie Shore returns on Tuesday for its second series, and straight afterwards fans will be able to log onto the MTV for an exclusive interview with the cast.

Hosted by Laura Whitmore, the special show is sure to be filled with drama as the cast hear what has been said about them by the others in the first episode!

Fans will also be able to send in their questions on Twitter, by using the hashtag #AskGeordie when sending in their questions.

So make sure to head on over to the MTV website at 11pm after the main show to watch the cast’s reactions and ask those burning questions.

I have been lucky enough to be invited to the screening of the first episode with the cast, and watch them be interviewed by Laura.

I will also be meeting and interviewing the cast tomorrow!
