Charlotte has only gone and landed herself her own reality TV show on TLC.
Geordie Shore party girl Charlotte Crosby is to front a four-part TLC series where she swaps her lifestyle to live with some of the world’s most extraordinary communities, beginning with the Furisode ladies of Tokyo, steeped in the traditions of Japanese geishas.
The series is the first commission for indie start-up Rumpus Media which was set up in June last year as part of Greenbird, the production company incubator.
Each week, Crosby, who won Celebrity Big Brother 2013, will be introduced to different belief systems, practices and ways of living to experience the culture shock of a new world and she will try to abide by their particular rules and standards.
As well as exploring the traditions, different rules of society and environments, Crosby will discover human stories at the heart of each community.
The series is commissioned by Sarah Thornton, vp lifestyle production and development at TLC.
Emily Hudd, joint managing director at Rumpus Media said: “The world has taken an intimate look at Charlotte Crosby over the past three years, and now it’s time for her to take a good look at the world. We’re incredibly excited to be working with her and TLC on this series.”
Mark Procter is the executive producer for TLC. The series producer for Rumpus Media is David Symonds.
“Known for her unabashed frankness and party-hard antics, Charlotte has shot to fame as an exciting, unpredictable and original talent,” says Thornton, who describes the series as “pinching the best bits of reality, travel and documentary genres.”
The series will air on TLC in spring 2014.

Charlotte has confirmed she will return to Geordie Shore season 8!
This is great news, but she doesn’t know what will happen yet with Sophie and Vicky.
Charlotte Crosby will return for Geordie Shore’s eighth series.
The brunette star has confirmed she will be back on the MTV reality show after leaving the programme to star on ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ – which she won – this summer, but she insists she won’t quit the show until it is axed.
Speaking at the Radio 1 Teen Awards at London’s Wembley Arena yesterday (03.11.13), she exclusively told BANG Showbiz: “I will be going back but I’m not sure what I’m allowed to say. They just wanted a bit of a cliffhanger at the end of the last one.
“I don’t want to leave until the end. I won’t leave, I’ll be here until the end so I think I’d be quite, not sad, but positive about the next chapter in my life.”
The no-nonsense beauty is also hopeful her good friends Vicky Pattison and Sophie Kasaei will return to ‘Geordie Shore’ for the eighth series after they left during season seven.
She added: “I don’t know what’s going to happen yet, your guess is as good as mine, but fingers crossed Vicky and Sophie will be coming back. It’s up to the big bosses and you never know what they’re talking about.”
